Jonas Salama was born in Gießen in 1982.
He commenced his studies in 2004 at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität in Greifswald and finished his law degree at the Freie Universität in Berlin. He went on to successfully complete his legal clerkship at the court of appeal and early on directed his educational focus towards becoming a lawyer.  He passed the bar in 2012 and has since been practicing in a number of law firms specialized in economic and corporate law. Since 2016, Jonas Salama has been a practicing as a specialized lawyer for tenancy and property law.
